Sangalai or mul sangan [Azima tetracantha]


A spiny evergreen shrub with leaves simple, opposite with successive pairs at right angles to each other, elliptic-oblong to almost round ,leathery fruits are round small, yellow to white when ripe.
Medicinal uses: Its used in bronchitis, cough, asthama, diabetes etc.it is used in Ayurveda, folk &Sidha ,A cough medicine can be prepared from this plant.
This Particular species is Conserved and Propagated in ECO HERBS SUGANDHAVANAM NURSERY.
