A slow growing tree widely cultivated as ornamental plant, Cobra shaped white hairy white fragrant flowers ,mainly it’s the sthala viruksha [Native temple plant]in Shiva Temples.The tree can grow up to 30Mts tall.The leaves applied to the head in the form of paste to treat cold & Cough. The roots of this Herb is often used as antidote for snake poison .The dried flowers are used for bleeding hemorrhoids and dysentery with mucus fresh flowers are also prescribed for excessive thirst ,excessive perspiration and for Indigestion.This Particular Herb tree is Conserved and Propagated in Sugandha vanam Nursery.
